[book and globe graphic] Does your agency or organization want to do something positive for families, but hasn't had the time or resources? Check our on-line educational workshops developed by police psychologists for spouses, parents and children - anyone who knows and loves a cop. You'll find a facilitator's guide, a course outline, reproducible overheads and handouts and many other helpful tools for setting up family orientations and seminars. Just download the material, customize it according to instructions.

The following workshops are for spouse and parents of law enforcement families. They can be used with recruit/rookie or veteran family members. The two-day workshop includes tours of the police department and communication center and a ride-along. The one-day workshop has been designed to accommodate departments and organizations that cannot provide the full 2-day program and omits some information that we consider essential to a thorough family orientation. We encourage facilitators who are restricted to using the one-day format to read the two-day curriculum and make every attempt to offer the missing information to families at a future time.
